Nonetheless, she also covered men’s basketball for UNC-Charlotte and was the first female analyst in the program’s history. Eventually, Michele worked for CBS in 1994, where she covered college basketball for ‘CBS Sports Spectacular’. However, Tafoya parted with CBS after five years with the network in 1999.

Later on, she began working for ESPN and ABC Sports in January 2000 and remained there until 2011. After that, she worked for NBC since May 4, 2011, as a permanent sideline reporter for NBC Sunday Night Football.

In parallel to her TV journalism, Michele serves as a radio host. In 2009, she was hired as a reporter for ‘WCCO-AM’. Besides, she has also served as the night co-host of the Nagano Olympics in 1998.
