America’s Got Talent
He recently appeared on the popular reality television show ‘America’s Got Talent,’ where he received a standing ovation from the judges for his highly melodious performance, in which he sang ‘Tomorrow’ by singer Annie. Jimmie has whisked away to the live performances by the golden buzzer.
It was difficult for him since Simon warned him that the song he was going to perform was the worst tune in the world for him. In addition, Simon recommended he perform any other song, but he stated that this was the only song for which he had prepared.
Despite the criticism, he literally wowed Simon and the other judges, as well as the live crowd, with his singing ability. Simon gave him the Golden Buzzer as a reward for his stunning performance, advancing him to the quarterfinals for live performance.
During the quarterfinals, he performed “Pure Imagination,” and as expected, he killed it, receiving a standing ovation not only from the public but also from all four judges.
Jimmie Herrod, a brilliant vocalist recognized for his nuanced and profound lyricism, performs jazz standards as well as original tunes. Herrod collaborated with Pink Martini on his debut EP Tomorrow in 2019.
After graduating from high school, he began dividing his time between working in Paris and living in Portland, where he is an adjunct professor of jazz voice at Portland University.
In addition to teaching, he performs on a regular basis, leading his own pop and jazz groups. He’s performed with the Oregon Symphony and the electronic duo ODESZA. Pink Martini’s constant collaborator, he has toured and recorded with the group, releasing the 2018 single “Exodus” and the 2019 EP Tomorrow.
The Pacific Northwest’s renowned artist and vocalist is a maestro of music and lyrics. He gets his living solely through his singing. As a jazz professor, he may also be earning a decent living. Nonetheless, he is hesitant to share his net worth with the media. He values natural worth more than material worth. He is anticipated to jokingly raise his career highs on a daily basis and provide Hollywood with the best singer in history.
