Alex De Minaur is a tennis player ( Australian) who represents his country in international competitions. De Minaur made his professional debut in the Spain F22 in July 2015, reaching the quarterfinals.

Alex was given a wildcard into the 2016 Australian Open qualifying rounds, although he was defeated in round one by Kimmer Coppejans. 

After qualifying, he reached his first ATP Challenger Tour final in Eckental, Germany, but lost to Steve Darcis.

At 18, he made his Davis Cup debut for Australia in February 2018.

He was given a wildcard into the 2018 French Open, but he lost in the first round against Kyle Edmund, the British 16th seed. 

Alex was defeated in the third round of the Australian Open by Rafael Nadal. In March 2019, Alex reached a career-high ranking of 24.
